Well, we did it. Our first trip as travel buddies was a success! Not only did we make it out to Oahu, but we miraculously made it back to SLC on the direct flight from Honolulu. For those of you that don't know, I'm a flight attendant and Mandy is on my benefits. Meaning we can go anywhere we want to at anytime. It really is a killer deal, until you're trying to get to your destination and you don't always get to where you're going when you want to because we're flying standby and my seniority isn't all that high... so sometimes it's kind of a gamble. But it all worked out and what better place to kick off the start of our travel adventures than in Hawaii? This was my first time to Hawaii and I wasn't disappointed. (Well, except for the fact that our expenses didn't end up being as cheap as we were told... oh well). It was a quick trip but I had a blast. It was a nice to get away and to be able to hang out with Mand! I'm already excited for our next trip. We went to Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation, the Swap Meet, Waikiki Walk, the Laie Temple, Dog the Bounty Hunter's Bail Bond office, among other things. My favorite though was wearing a swimming suit in 80 degree weather... in the middle of January... jus sayin'...
